About the role.
SynlogIQ is looking for a Senior Databricks Engineer to lead cloud data platform projects. You’ll construct greenfield data lakehouses, migrate legacy warehouses, and enable robust pipelines for advanced analytics.
What you’d do.
- Redesign BI landscapes and migrate legacy data warehouses to Databricks.
- Construct Azure-based data infrastructures using Terraform for IaC.
- Build high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines with PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Ensure strict data governance, catalogs, and lineage.
What we’re looking for.
Essential
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with deep Databricks focus.
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt (data build tool).
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
